This DPR rewinder is specifically designed for the Epson ColorWorks C6500P label printer.

It automatically rewinds face-in or face-out printed labels. It can handle rolls up to 8.66″ (220 mm) media wide and has an outside diameter up to 10″ (250 mm). This rewinder is equipped with a fixed 3″ core holder. Ideal for producing large rolls of printed labels for a label applicator or digital label finisher.

Printer Plate – To ensure a perfectly aligned media path, a specific baseplate that easily accommodates the Epson C6500P is recommended, allowing the rewinder unit to be safely aligned with the printer.

“L” Support: For the heavy label rolls, our label unwinder and label rewinder have an “L” support, included. Easy to add or remove with a knob, it gives much more stability to the core holder.

Label Rewinder:
When the printer forwards the printed media, the tension arm goes down, and the device rewinds the media.
When the tension arm is in the middle position, the device is idle.
When the printer pulls back the media, the tension arm goes up, and the device unwinds it.

An external power supply 100/240VAC – 2.5A  at 24V allows an electronic circuit to provide, through the tension arm, the automatic adjustment of the rotation direction and speed.
